Drawing of my House

I picked a location at my house where I used different techniques to try and transcribe what I saw into a sketch. I used the gesture and intuitive techniques at the beginning to get the basic shape and feel of the drawing. Once I got the basic ideas laid out I moved on to using proportions, grids, and negative space techniques to get a more definite location on my lines and refine my sketch some more. I also used the clock method to check my angles and eventually fix them. The entire sketch is done with charcoal pencils over the course of approximately an hour and a half.
