Illustrated Journal: Perspective

I recently found a post describing a cool idea for working with two point perspective traditionally.

Ingenious Hack for Sketching with Two Point Perspective Using an Elastic String

Honestly I think this idea is pretty neat and I am surprised I have not seen anyone else use at least something similar to this. It is a great way to quickly and accurately work in perspective. While it really doesn’t say anything about how this was done specifically, it looks like they took an elastic string and taped, or secured it some other way, to the two points in the perspective. They then used what looks like a bent paperclip to pull the elastic to where it was needed to get the right perspective. Overall it is a cool idea and tool that I might consider using in the future.
