Bezier Curves in Nature

curve-all-the-things

For the most part, nature is not made of perfect shapes and lines. When it comes to recreating a scene from nature you should use more than just geometric shapes. By manipulating anchor points and creating Bezier curves, I tried to recreate the feeling and presence of life within a nature scene. Along with the movement and distortion of lines caused by the curves, it also helps to work with a background, foreground and middle ground. Combining both the curves and the different levels, takes a simple two dimensional picture and builds upon it’s unity and presence.
